For the Release of Hossein Ronaghi from Evin Prison

Hossein Ronaghi, a human rights activist and blogger, has been under arrest, solitary confinement, and interrogation and torture by the agents of the Islamic Republic since September 24, 2022. Hossein Ronaghi's life is in danger. Hossein Ronaghi's family keeps visiting Evin prison, but the prison officials do not answer them.
Hossein Ronaghi, 37, has been working for the civil rights of the Iranian people for almost two decades. He spent six years of his life in the dungeons of the Islamic Republic. He was arrested, tortured, and threatened with death, and his family was constantly harassed, yet he never set to leave the country. He continued his struggle for the civil and political rights of the people.
Hossein Ronaghi's mother said on October 1, 2022, that the officers in the detention center broke both of Hossein's legs and did not take any measures to treat him. The last time Hossein was seen in a video clip by a citizen was when the officers tried to take him to an unknown place with pressure on his larynx and throat, and he tried to shout that he wanted to go to the prosecutor's office.
Recently, the interrogators of the Islamic Republic killed a person named Ramin Fatehi under torture, and this treatment of political prisoners, that is, torture until death, has intensified. We are worried about the health and life of Hossein Ronaghi, and we ask the international institutions to do everything in their power for his release.
