در روستای «کتا» واقع در استان کهگیلویه و بویر احمد، مقامات حکومتی زمین‌های هموطنان بهایی را به زور مصادره کرده‌اند. پس از مصادره، ستاد اجرایی فرمان امام این زمین‌ها را در مهرماه ۱۴۰۰ به حراج گذاشته است. علاوه بر دزدی زمین، این ستاد به صاحبان اصلی اجازه نمی‌دهد که زمین خود را در حراج مجدداً بخرند! از دید این مقامات، معامله‌ی تجاری با بهاییان خلاف شرع است! مسؤولان محلی قصد دارند این زمین‌ها را به بهای ناچیز به آشنایان و نزدیکان خود بفروشند.
این سیاست علیه خانوارهای بهایی سال گذشته نیز در روستاهای روشنکوه و ایول در استان مازندران به اجرا درآمد. مرتضی موسوی، رییس دادگاه ویژه اصل ۴۹ قانون اساسی استان مازندران، با استناد به فتوای علی خامنه‌ای و مراجع شیعه اعلام کرد، «جمیع افراد فرقه ضاله بهایی محکوم به کفر و نجاست هستند و اموال آنها هیچ‌گونه مشروعیتی ندارد.»
به این ترتیب، زمین‌هایی که طی نسل‌ها در تملک کشاورزان بهایی و منبع معاش و زیست و بقای خانواده‌های آنها بوده، از دست صاحبانِ آنها ربوده شده است. این هموطنان بار دیگر قربانی تبعیضاتِ سیستمی و بهایی‌ستیزی مزمن حاکمیت شیعی شده‌اند. در همین روستا، بهایی‌ستیزان با تحریک روحانیان شیعی و همدستی نیروی انتظامی، بارها آرامگاه‌های این خانوارها را ویران کرده‌اند و هرجا توانسته‌اند به آنها ظلم روا داشته‌اند. طی دهه‌های اخیر بیش از ۴۰۰ خانوار بهایی به دلیل اذیت و آزار مجبور به ترک روستای کتا شده‌اند. در مواردی خانه‌های آنها به دست بهایی‌ستیزان به آتش کشیده شده است تا این هموطنان از ترس جان به مهاجرت اجباری تن در دهند.
مصادره زمین‌ها و اموال هموطنان بهایی به خاطر باور دینی آنها یک سیاست ضدانسانی و تبعیض‌آمیز است. این سیاست با اصول بین‌المللی حقوق بشر نیز مغایرت دارد. ما امضاکنندگان این دادخواست ضمن محکوم کردن این سیاست غیرقانونی، از مقامات استان کهگیلویه و بویراحمد و نماینده این استان در مجلس می‌خواهیم هرچه زودتر زمین‌های مصادره شده را به صاحبان اصلی آنها بازگردانند و رفتار تبعیض‌آمیز و خشونت‌بار با بهاییان روستای کتا را متوقف کنند.

Give Back the Baha'i Lands
In the village of Kata in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, government officials have forcibly confiscated the lands of Baha'i compatriots. In October 2021, a state commercial entity, The Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO), also known as the Executive Headquarters of Imam's Directive, auctioned these lands. In addition to stealing land, EIKO does not allow the original owners to repurchase their land at auction! In the eyes of these officials, doing business with the Baha'is is against Sharia law! Local officials plan to sell the lands to their acquaintances for a pittance.
This policy was also implemented against Baha'i families last year in the villages of Roshankooh and Ivel in Mazandaran province. Based on Ali Khamenei's fatwa and Shiite authorities, Morteza Mousavi, the Mazandaran's Special Court head for Article 49 of the Constitution, declared, "All members of the deviant Baha'i sect are steeped in the mire of infidelity and impurity, and their property is not legitimate."
The lands that Baha'i farmers have owned for generations, the source of their livelihood, have been taken away. The villagers of Kata have once again fallen victim to systemic discrimination and chronic anti-Baha'iism of Shiite rule. In the same village, anti-Baha'i mobs, instigated by Shiite clerics and with the complicity of the police, have repeatedly destroyed the tombs of these families and oppressed them wherever they could. In recent decades, more than 400 Baha'i families have been forced to flee the village of Kata due to persecution. In some cases, anti-Baha'is have set their homes on fire to force them to emigrate for fear of death.
The confiscation of the lands and property of Baha'i compatriots because of their religious beliefs is an inhumane and discriminatory policy. This policy is also contrary to international human rights principles. We, the signatories of this petition, condemn this illegal policy and call on the officials of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province and the representative of this province in the parliament to return the confiscated lands to their original owners as soon as possible and to stop discriminatory and violent treatment of Baha'is in Kata village.
