صبح دوشنبه ۱۱ اسفند ماه ۱۳۹۹، شماری از فعالان مدنی و سیاسی با حضور در دفتر قضایی در غرب تهران نسبت به حبس متهمان در سلول‌های انفرادی اعلام شکایت کردند.
در حمایت از این شکایت رسمی، این دادخواست عمومی را خطاب به جاوید رحمان «گزارشگر ویژه حقوق بشر در ایران» می‌فرستیم. از آقای رحمان درخواست می کنیم که از شکایت فعالان مدنی و سیاسی حمایت کند و از مقامات جمهوری اسلامی بخواهد که شکنجه زندانیان را متوقف کنند.
هدف ما این است که این موضوع را از طریق مراجع بین‌المللی پیگیری کنیم.
بعنوان افرادی که طعمِ تلخِ سلول انفرادی را چشیده ایم، علیه آمران، عاملان و مامورانی که انسان‌ها را به چنین مجازاتی محکوم می‌کنند، اعلام جرم می کنیم.
کسانی که آن را تجربه کرده‌اند از قدرت ویرانگر و شرایط طاقت فرسای آن اطلاع دارند. بدون هیچ تردیدی، حبس در سلول انفرادی از مصادیق شکنجه است.
ما خواهان پایان دادن به این شکنجه ضدانسانی و غیراخلاقی هستیم.

Today, a number of Iranian civil and political activists formally submitted their complaint against the use of solitary confinement by Iranian officials. The activists submitted their lawsuit at the Judicial Office of Western Tehran.
In support of this lawsuit, we have launched this petition to Javid Rahman, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran. We ask Mr. Rahman to support the activists and urge Iranian officials to stop subjecting prisoners to this form of torture.
We, as those who have been subject to solitary confinement, formally file our complaint against those who ordered tortured us.
There is no doubt that solitary confinement is a form of torture. We call for an end to this inhumane and immoral form of punishment.
