دولت ایران باید به همه اطمینان دهد که عدم دریافت دستمزد از روز اول شروع بحران جبران خواهد شد.

از آنجا که بیماری کووید-۱۹ شرایط را برای جامعه ایران سخت‌تر کرده است، شاهد هستیم که تعداد زیادی از کارگران کم درآمد یا بیکار اگر نتوانند به کار روزانه خود ادامه دهند یا شغل خود را از دست بدهند، در معرض مشکل عدم دریافت هر گونه کمک مالی قرار می‌گیرند.
ارزیابی‌ها حاکی از آن است که ۶۰ درصد مزدبگیران ایرانی زیر خط فقر زندگی می‌کنند. خط فقر در ایران برای یک خانوار با دو بزرگسال و دو فرزند، هفت میلیون و ۲۰۰ هزار تومان معادل ۴۹۳ یورو تخمین زده شده است. طبق اعلام بانک مرکزی ایران، درآمد معین یک کارگر ماهانه معمولا ۱۰۰ یورو است. غالب کارگران در صورت بیکار شدن یا ابتلا به بیماری به ندرت مبلغی به عنوان کمک هزینه دریافت می‌کنند.
کارگران مبتلا به کووید-۱۹ برای جلوگیری از شیوع و گسترش ویروس باید خود را قرنطینه کنند. این موضوع برای هیچ‌کس عادلانه نیست که تاوان مسأله‌ای خارج از کنترل خود را بپردازد. هیچ‌کس نباید در صورت بیکار ماندن و به خاطر مبتلا شدن به کووید-۱۹، نگران مقروض شدن یا چالش برای پرداخت قبض‌های خود باشد.
دولت ایران باید به همه اطمینان دهد که عدم دریافت دستمزد از روز اول شروع بحران جبران خواهد شد.
دولت باید موارد فوری و ضروری زیر را عملی کند:
- اعطای حق دریافت حقوق بیماری به تمامی کارگران از روز اول غیبت در مورد بیماری‌های اورژانسی- تأمین بودجه برای اطمینان بخشیدن به کارفرمایان در مورد پرداخت دستمزد کارگرانی که به دلیل شیوع بیماری کووید-۱۹ درآمد خود را از دست داده‌اند

Guarantee emergency sick pay from day one for every worker
As covid-19 tightens its grip on the Iranian society, we see that too many low paid or unemployed workers are at risk of getting no financial support if they cannot get to work, dismissed from their job, ill unwell or unemployed.
An estimation is that 60 percent of the Iranian wage earners live below the poverty line. The poverty line in Iran for a family of 2 adults and 2 children is estimated to be 7 200 000 Toman = 493 Euro. According to the Iranian Central Bank a regular worker´s income per month usually amounts to 100 Euro. Most workers very rarely receive any compensation if they become unemployed or ill.
Workers affected by the covid-19 could have to go into quarantine or self- isolation to prevent further spread of the virus.
It is unfair for anyone to be penalised by something outside of their control. No one should have to worry about falling into debts or struggling to pay their bills when they cannot go to work because of the outbreak of covid-19.
The Iranian government must ensure everyone to be compensate the wage lose because of crises from day one.
- The government should introduce emergency measures that:
- Gives every worker the right to statutory emergency sick pay from the first day of absence.
- Provide funds to ensure that employers can afford to pay the workers who lost their income because of the covid-19 outbreak.
