تبلیغات «ادموب» (AdMob) توسط بسیاری از توسعه‌دهندگان و برنامه‌نویسان موبایل ایران (ناشران تبلیغ) برای کسب درآمد استفاده می‌شد، که از حدود تاریخ ۱۰ اسفند ۱۳۹۸ به دلیل نامشخصی فیلتر شده است و درآمد برنامه‌نویسان این حوزه "قطع" شده است!
نشر این تبلیغات به کمک شرکت‌های دانش بنیان با دور زدن تحریم‌ها برای برنامه‌نویسان ایرانی و در حالت کلی، برای کشور و اقتصاد ایران ارز آور بود.
